New York Cool

Ca s'est passé jeudi soir dernier devant Radio City Hall à New York où se déroulait la cérémonie des Awards de MTV. Le rapper Mos Def a été arrêté par la police pour avoir osé un rap impromptu: "Katrina Clap" dénonçant l'inaction de l'administration Bush à la Nouvelle Orléans. Officiellement, il a été embarqué pour utilisation d'une sono sans autorisation préalable. New York perd son cool.

Mos Def was arrested last Thursday night in front of Radio City Hall in New York for performing his rap "Katrina Clap", a song denouncing the Bush administration's conduct during Katrina's aftermath in New Orleans. Officially, he was taken to jail for use of a sound system without permit. Just after the MTV's awards, yes. That's the new edgy New York.
